Educated in the UK (Ph.D.), the Philippines (M.Sc.) and China (B.Sc.), Dr. Wu has extensive experience in working for International Organizations and Multinational Companies in Asia, Europe and North America.

From 1997, Dr. Wu started her business career, worked as China Country Manager for Cosun, the leading agribusiness and food ingredients corporative company in Holland; and also an independent consultant for P&G, AIG HK and other Multinational Companies on various market research and investment assessment in agribusiness and food sectors including sweetener and sugar, beverage and packaging, vegetable oils, edible beans and honey etc; livestock breeding and biotech, port and silo, ventilation system and other different industries and sectors. She joined the Sinar Mas Group in 1999 based in Shanghai as Marketing Manager for AFP (Asia Food and Properties - the world No. 1 private palm oil producer originated in Indonesia) and Country Representative for Trade Alliance (TAL, e-commerce). In December 2000, Dr. Wu joined Syngenta, the world No.1 in agrochemicals and 3rd in commercial seeds Multinational Company, as Director of Business Development and a member of the Management Committee in China. From year 2002 to 2003, Dr. Wu worked as Business Development Manager for LMC International in Oxford UK.

Prior to her business career, Dr. Wu had extensive academic experience. She worked as Principal Scientist and Project Leader with the Chinese Academy of Forestry for various projects sponsored by the International Research and Development Centre of Canada (IDRC) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), and with Cranfield University for project sponsored by the Department For International Development UK and University of Guelph, Canada in the area of Sustainable Agriculture Systems and Agroforestry.

Dr. Yunfeng Wu came to the United Kingdom in September 1998, to pursue his study for a Master degree in Developing and Application of Information Systems with De Montfort University. After successfully completion of his degree, Dr. Wu had worked with a University as a Research Officer, worked in few leading Software companies as senior developer or IT manager.
